Consent to Disclosure
I consent to allow my electronic return originator (ERO), transmitter, or intermediate service provider to send my return to the IRS and to receive from the IRS (a) an acknowledgement of receipt or reason for rejection of the transmission, (b) an indication of any refund offset, (c) the reason for any delay in processing the return or refund, and (d) the date of any refund.

I am signing this electronic Tax Return and Electronic Funds Withdrawal Consent, if applicable, by entering my self-selected PIN during the filing process.

Confidentiality
The IRS states that the information to be disclosed via your filing process is generally confidential under the laws applicable to the IRS and that the agency receiving the HVUT information is not bound by these laws and my use the information for any purposes as permitted by other federal laws and/or state law. Please note that 2290asap.com is dedicated to keeping your information confidential and secure. We will not share your information unless we are required to do so to comply with a subpoena or other legal process. We will also not sell your information.

Indemnification

Records Retention
2290asap agrees to retain and make available all completed IRS form 2290 schedule 1's for a period of no less than 4 years. All data pertaining to any filing will be removed from our systems after 4 years. All incomplete filings (filings where a schedule 1 has not been returned from the IRS) will be considered dormant filings and removed after 120 days from the last activity date of the incomplete filing.
